Morrie was born on March 13, 2015 at Puddleduck Retrievers. He was one of 2 large pups!! He became our 4-legged friend at 8 weeks old and we have never had a dull moment since! Morrie lives in Portland, Maine with his mom Jody and dad Don. He loves to run in the woods with his besties but his favorite pastime is swimming in any water, brook, stream, river, lake, ocean, even Jody's bath time! Morrie has been exposed to as many situations as possible - elevators, escalators, attic spaces, ladders, breweries, ferry rides to Peaks Island. As long as he is included he goes! He loves to ride in the car, the truck, if it's moving he rides!! There's nothing that scares him, nothing he dislikes, EXCEPT, his arch nemesis is the CHIPMUNK!! His nose can find one even under the snow. Speaking of snow…it is his favorite time of year. Hide a mitten, hide a shoe, throw a ball and Morrie will find it 4 feet under the snow. Morrie would have made a great hunting dog as we get asked all the time where he came from, can they use him. He loves squeaky toys, homemade dog treats, snowshoeing, belly rubs, but he mostly loves visits with Frances at Puddleduck. We just need to say, "Want to go to Puddleduck" and he pushes open the door and jumps in the back seat of the truck for the ride! We love our boy and thank Frances everyday for liking us enough to part with him. Thank you!
