Puddleduck Philosophy

Puddleduck is a breeder of versatile quality black, chocolate and yellow Labrador Retrievers. Our dogs excel as obedience, hunting, and working K9s dogs, but most importantly, they are wonderful family companions. Our reputation is well-known and clearly speaks for itself.

We take great pride in our breeding program. All of our Labrador Retrievers must pass required health clearances and have no less than excellent temperaments before they become part of the Puddleduck breeding program.

At Puddleduck, we feel it is very important to find out exactly what you are looking for in a puppy so we can match with the perfect puppy that most closely fits your needs. Whether your new dog is coming home to be your faithful friend, your hunting companion or your children's playmate, Puddleduck’s Labradors are ideally suited.

However, because of the love Frances has for her dogs, she will only sell a puppy to individuals who have a plan to raise their new puppy in their family home and are aware of the commitment it takes to properly raise a Labrador Retriever puppy.
